Background. The aim of the article is to find a connection between climatic factors and Astrakhan population appealing for emergency pre-hospital specialized medical aid.
Materials and methods. The data were collected on the basis of the analysis of the Territorial Catastrophe Medicine Centre reports, records of calls to specialized teams in 2012, classical statistical methods.
Results. The research helped to identify and summarize the causes and reasons of Astrakhan population appealing for emergency specialized medical aid at the prehospital stage: the population appealability dynamics depending on age and sex; annual, monthly and seasonal dynamics were estimated.
Conclusion. The research helped to validate the activities directed to improve specialized medical aid rendering by the Territorial Catastrophe Medicine Centre teams.
